International Removals Insurance
All we require is a lump sum replacement value of your household goods. Insurers perceive there are added risks with a move overseas and different rates will apply dependent upon your chosen destination.
However, the procedures are very much the same as for a domestic move and we can accept both professionally packed or owner packed goods.
Insuring your International Move
Your remover will detail how good they are at packing and how they have minimal losses, therefore our coverage and rates are geared towards protecting your goods against major perils which are outside the control of the remover such as fire, flood, theft or non-delivery of entire container/shipment, explosion, lightning, general average sacrifice, jettison, washing overboard of the container or the ocean-going vessel sinking and the ingress of sea or rain water.
Cover does NOT include losses or accidental damage arising from breakage, scratching, denting, marring, electrical or mechanical derangement, mould or mildew or missing items or shortages from within the shipment.
